Misspell
Search |
The Misspell Search
option will allow you to search the site of your choice for items that
are not spelled correctly. By doing so the search will locate hundreds
of items that normal search engines over look. This option is on by
default and can only be overridden by the Normal Search option. |
|
eBay Stores |
The eBay Store option
will only search for misspelled items listed in eBay Stores. This is
an exceptional option since all of these items are listed with the
"Buy it Now" option. Many Store operators are high volume sellers
giving more chance for error in their listings. |
|
Normal Search |
This option will allow
you to search with the speed of our servers. Many dial-up customers
find this search as an advantage for them. |
|
Want it Now |
eBay's want it now is a
version of eBay stores in reverse. A potential customer places a want
ad on eBay and buyers make them offers. Lowest price usually wins. But
with our misspell search of the "want it now" area you can find
frustrated buyers that no one has given them an offer, giving you the
opportunity to sell them an item at a higher price. |
|
eBay Motors |
Believe it or not sellers
actually misspell automobiles, trucks, boats, and all the accessories
that go with them. Our misspell search functions the same on eBay
motors as it functions on normal eBay sites.

|
Paypal only |
Paypal only will search
for misspelled items that have the "paypal only" option. |
|
Title & Descriptions |
This will
result in a huge number of search results. It works just like the
title and description search on the eBay site except all the items
returned will have misspellings in them.
|
|
Include
Original Word |
This will search for
misspelled items and also include the original item in your search. |
|
Buy it now |
Buy it now only will search for misspelled
items that have the "Buy it now" option.
|
|
Exclude the original word |
A few of the more alert
sellers have known for years that people misspell items they are
searching for. With this filter option we can remove these items from
the search results. |
|
Attach
words to Search |
This is a handy option if
you would like to narrow your search results down.
For example: You are looking for
a Diamond Ring so you type in the word Diamond Ring and you get 700
return hits. But you need a Size 7. So the include a word would look
for misspelled variations of the words diamond ring and always look
for size 7.
Another example: Lets say
you are looking for a dell laptop. Chances are slim that someone would
misspell both words. So you would set the search to look for the word
laptop then attach the word Dell so the search would return variations
of the word laptop but only for Dell computers.
|
|
Exclude
these words |
This is very useful
option to narrow down your search results. Searching for misspelled
variations of the word computer will also include the word commuter
and yes occasionally an auction for commuter memorabilia will get
listed and if you are looking for a computer this is not useful to
you. This option will allow you to exclude word's from your search
results |
|
Number of Bids |
If you are looking for a
Misspelled Diamond Ring chances are you would like to be the only
bidder. With this option you can search from 0 to as many bids as you
would like to return in your search. |
